Inhale the quite wonderful nature with all the animals, insects and plants that you can experience from the water's edge.
Feel the wind whispering and especially the silence of nature when the canoe slowly goes down the winding
Lindenborg Å.
Throw your fishing line and catch the supper yourself in the stream or bring your picnic which can be enjoyed at the source
Lille Blåkilde. It is a very nice place to go ashore and have a break.
Also, you should try to find your way to the source
Blåhøl by Skindbjerg. It is hard accessible from land, but in a canoe it is possible to sail around in the source.
If you feel like using strength and becoming sweat on your brow, a trip on Lindenborg Å can be a real challenge. You can go the 14 km as fast as possible or you can go against the stream, start at Håls Bro and end in Rebild at Nybro – both possibilities demands that you are well fit.
Bring your family or friends and have a nice 5 hour trip downstream on Lindenborg Å through some of the most beautiful country sides in Himmerland. The trip goes from Rebild (Nybro) to Hålsbro – a trip of about 14 kilometres.
There are good opportunities for breaks as you go. During the trip you pass among other things the sources Lille Blåkilde and Blåhøl. Lille blåkilde springs with 150 liters of water every second, and it is therefore one of the largest sources in Northern Europe. Blåhøl at Skindbjerg is normally not accessible, but in a canoe it is possible to go quite close to the source.
